That’s right! I have an interview at a Pontiac/GMC dealership tomorrow. I don’t really care for either of those brands, but it’s probably better that I work on cars that I don’t like (that way I won’t get sick of the one’s that I do like). So everyone wish me luck.
I’m back from Florida. I’m happy to report that Grandpa is doing much better. Grandma has bronchitis (sp?), but she’s on medication and feeling much better. Here’s an excerpt from a letter that Grandpa wrote to a friend about the incident;
The last few days have been a bit hectic and scary at times. I did feel very important while I was in the hospitial as every morning they would send someone to my room to ask me what day it was. I found out they didn’t even know who our President was, They asked me that as well. I knew they were in serious trouble when they asked me to spell words backwards.It’s good to see that he still has a good sense of humor. So thanks for all of the good thoughts.
I do hope that they are not planning on reverse spelling of their records because the doctor’s handwriting is hard enough to read at the present time.
I do not have any pain now and feel pretty good. When our grandson heard that I was in the hospital he jumped in his car and drove here from Nashville, TN. He has been a wonderful help to both Reta and I. Who says today’s young people are self centered or undependable? My kids and grandkids have kept the cell phone industry working overtime to keep in touch. Much appreciated.
